Fast evolving technology can be overwhelming for anyone, especially for seniors. The Tech 4 Seniors program sis created for senior citizens to get help and tips on how to use today’s technology, like phones, computers, and apps.
Tech 4 Seniors is currently held monthly at the 7 Oaks Senior Center!
Our volunteers have the opportunity to assist seniors with tasks including setting up email accounts, using social media, or troubleshooting various technology-related issues with their devices.
Our volunteers will learn to be not only patient and empathetic when working with seniors, but also flexible and able to adapt to the unique communication styles of each senior citizen.
The Tech 4 Senior experience is extremely rewarding, as it helps bridge the digital divide and empower seniors to stay connected in an increasingly digital world! It is also a great way for students to connect with our senior members of the community and build up communication skills.
